A Humble Beginning
Oscar’s life is a success story drawn from and a product of hard work, dedication, and his mother’s unconditional support for countless years. He was born in Virac, a municipality which occupies the southern tip of the island of Catanduanes Philippines.

Far Eastern University is where Dr. Enriquez finished his schooling in 1984. In the years that followed, he moved to the United States and started his quest to become an Internist. He entered the training program at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio - which he completed in 1995.
Immediately after residency training program completion, Dr. Enriquez moved to Port Arthur, Texas where he currently works and owns Standard Medical Clinic. The medical practice has grown from one to four offices over the years and has employed medical providers serving the people of Southeast Texas and the Golden Triangle area.
Dr. Enriquez is the current president of UCSD (United Catanduanes San Diego), a non-profit organization providing aid to needy people in the Bicol Region. In 2017, he spearheaded the Medical Mission in the province of Catanduanes including visitation at the orphanage, and a local community jail.
He is also the past president of PACT (Philippine American Community of Texas) and TAPP (Texas Association of Philippine Physician). He is a perennial donor of the Philippine Service of Mercy in Cagayan de Oro City which provides financial assistance to amputees making their own prosthesis. They also conduct outreach projects to help children with special needs, including the blind in Talakag, Bukidnon.
Dr. Enriquez is a music lover and his other passion is singing. It's his most effective
therapy in handling stress.
